Hey, I’m John and I want to help you prepare your bikes, skis, and snowboards for your next adventure. Outdoor equipment maintenance is my dream job and what I plan to pursue after spending nearly 20 years in the technology industry.
I have over 10 years of bike/ski industry experience, working in brick-and-mortar shops, and over 30 years of experience maintaining my own equipment. My attention to detail is second to none, and I enjoy helping others maximize the value of their gear. I love learning the latest developments in equipment technology and will gladly help guide you if you are considering new gear or are just looking for an upgrade to your current set-up.
My secure, home-based, shop is conveniently located in Lakewood, Colorado near Highway 6 and Kipling St. I am happy to have you come to my house and deliver your gear but am also open to making house calls if you live in the area.
I am also a dedicated husband and father and will gladly help with kids bikes, skis, and snowboards. Discounted rates are available for kids services.

All bikes have different needs and we’ll spend time together at the initial appointment to discuss what we should address and give you an estimated cost.
Basic tune-up includes:
Bike bath
Safety check and inspection of bottom bracket, headset, derailleurs, pivots, etc.
Lubrication of all drivetrain and brake systems
True and tension of wheels
Adjustments including brakes, derailleurs, and other bolts as needed
ski/snowboard
$25 and up
Let’s chat about your needs! I can sharpen edges and wax your gear for a reasonable price. If you need base repair, stone grinding, binding mounting, or other services, I will be happy to work with one of my local partners and manage the process for you.
